Dining

The Tweed Valley is blessed with a subtropical climate and rich volcanic soil, and the Uki area itself supports one of the most dense concentrations of organic farms in Australia.  Uki is noted for its Fresh Produce Markets, held every Saturday morning.

Breakfast 

A generous breakfast is included in the tariff and consists of a selection of juice, Guesthouse muesli or other cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, toast and homemade jams, coffee/tea and a hot option, such as 

Cheesy egg pots and sourdough fingers

Pancakes with macadamia crush and maple syrup

Shortcut lean bacon and local free-range eggs (cooked to your liking) with herbed tomato

Dinner

Dinner is available with notice. We favour fresh fruit and vegetables from local farmers and prepare tasty, home cooked meals.   A three course meal (including tea/coffee) is generally about $30 per person.

Special diets (eg vegan, diabetic, gluten-free, lactose-free and other medical diets) and picnic hampers can be arranged.

Snacks and light meals available on request.  

Cooking Facilities 

The Breakfast Bar is available for use by guests 24/7.  It is equipped with a toaster, sandwich maker and tea and coffee making facilities.

Guests may freely use the gas BBQ, generally located in the Pavilion or front deck.  You can provide all your own food or have us supplement your BBQ with salads or desserts.

Beverages

We serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as cappuccino, hot chocolate, fresh juice and smoothies.
